Top 5 Incentive Travel Destinations
Australia
When to visit: In European Winter it´s Auzzie summer, and what better way to escape your Winter blues than to jet off to Australia?
If you´re an adrenaline junkie, Australia is the place for you! Australia will always have something to satisfy your thrill seeking needs, whether it´s surfing the waves on Bondi Beach, embracing your inner Bare Grills whilst braving the outback, or climbing Sydney Harbor Bridge for a stunning view of Sydney.
If you´re more into sports, not a problem. Australians are some of the world’s most crazy sports fanatics. From Auzzie football (footie) to Cricket, the Auzzies love getting all riled up to watch a game.
Australia is also home to many animals that we don´t get back home in Europe. From Kangaroos to Koalas, wallabies to Tasmanian devils, Australia is a dream for animal lovers. Just make sure you avoid the spiders!

Cambodia
When to visit: To avoid the wet season, we would recommend going to Cambodia between October and April.
Cambodia is home to some of the world’s most beautiful Temples (including the famous Ta Prohm temple, as seen in the Angelina Jolie version of Tomb Raider). Visit Angkor, Siem Riep, a large complex filled with all different kinds of temples. Some temples are so old that the trees have grown around them! Also, if you´re lucky you may even be greeted by the monkeys that like to hang out in the temples.
If you want to get off the beaten track for a more unique experience we would recommend heading to Bokor Hill Station, where you can explore the remains of many French colonial buildings, including an abandoned hotel and casino. Only an hour away from Kampot, this place is paradise for urban explorers. The best way to visit is by hiring mopeds for the day and heading up the hill, stopping at all the abandoned buildings that you find on your way.
Top tip: In Cambodia you can haggle for almost anything so make sure that you don´t just take the first price that they give you!

Thailand
When to visit: Although Thailand’s weather is different depending on which part of Thailand you´re heading to, the best time to go to avoid the rain falls between January and April.
If you´re brave enough try street food, head to Bangkok´s Khao San Road. Backpackers and businessmen alike go there to dabble in the delicacies that are sold on the street. Khao San Road is an experience not to be missed if you want to be in the central hub of Bangkok.
If you´d rather avoid the hustle and bustle of a busy city, you can easily hit the beach instead. With numerous islands, Thailand offers some of the best beaches in the world. From Phuket to Koh Kud, there are stunning beaches for everyone.
The best way to get around is by Tuk Tuk. Despite their shabby appearance, Tuk Tuks are probably the best way to get around in Thailand (for short journeys). Riding in a Tuk Tuk is an experience not to be missed and we recommend trying them at least once. Did you even go to Thailand if you didn´t travel by Tuk Tuk?!
Top tip: When taking taxis, always ask to go with the taxi meter (rather than an agreed price before). Usually you will have to pay the highway tolls, but it will still work out cheaper for you.
Costa Rica
When to visit: Costa Rica has two seasons, a wet season and a dry season. However, it depends where you go as to when they are. Your safest bet for avoiding the wet season is to go between January and March.
Costa Rica has been rated one of the happiest countries in the world, and it’s not hard to see why. How could you be unhappy when the people are so friendly, the weather is great, the views are stunning, and the fruit tastes like heaven (you´ve not had a tomato until you´ve had a Costa Rican tomato)! If you´re looking for Pura Vida (pure life, a phrase used a lot by the Costa Ricans), Costa Rica is the place to go.
Night owls will surely be able to find a fiesta somewhere. Brush off those dancing shoes and prep your salsa steps because there ain´t no party like a Costa Rican party!
When it comes to beautiful waterfalls, Costa Rica is not to be overlooked. If you´re into tourist hotspots the 70-75 metre high la fortuna waterfall offers a stunning view (warning, to get to the bottom of it you have to climb down a lot of steps). If you would rather avoid the hordes of tourists and are willing to walk a bit through muddy terrain (hard work but so worth it) we would highly recommend Nauyaca waterfall which is located approximately 20 minutes by car from Dominical beach.
Top tip: If you want to get around like a local and aren´t afraid of strangers, when in Costa Rica you have to try hitch hiking! Normally we wouldn´t recommend getting in strangers cars, and obviously you should keep your wits about you, but hitch hiking is really common in Costa Rica and doesn´t carry the same stigma that it does in Europe.

Austria
When to visit: November - January
If you like snow, Austria is the place to go! During the winter months, Austria transforms into a winter wonderland. Popular things to do in Austria include skiing the snowy slopes of Salzburg, visiting the numerous Christmas markets to enjoy a glass or two of mulled wine, and hiking in the hills to see if they really are alive with the sound of music (they´re not…that is unless you stumble upon a yodeling class).
Top tip: If you´re a German speaker, why not try a class in Austrian dialect? (Contrary to popular belief, the Austrians do not speak standard German, and if you speak German it doesn´t necessarily mean that you´ll be able to understand the Austrians!)
