Home of the delicious Cornish pasty, if you want a typical English summer beach holiday, there’s no better place than Cornwall.

1.     Newquay beach

Newquay is one of England´s best surf hotspots. If you like to ride the waves then you should definitely head here. Just make sure you remember your wetsuit as the sea in England is cold!

2.     The Eden Project

The Eden Project is a plant conservation project, built in a reclaimed Chinese clay pit. Here they grow and conserve plants of many different species from many different climates.

3.     Adrenalin Quarry

Adrenalin Quarry is perfect for thrill seekers and adrenaline junkies. Here you can ride the 490m long zipwire, play water total wipeout, go coasteering, defy gravity in a giant swing or have a go at axethrowing.

4.     The Museum of Witchcraft and Magic

I don´t know about you but after growing up watching Harry Potter, I´ve always wanted to be a witch (the Harry Potter kind, not the scary kind). Luckily, Cornwall has a place to go for budding witches and wizards.

6.     Horseriding

With stunning beaches and beautiful countryside, cornwall is a great place to go horseriding. I would recommend going for a hack on Bodmin Moor for the ultimate riding experience.

7.     St. Nectan's Kieve

For walkers and waterfall enthusiasts, head to St. Nectan´s Kieve (or glen). Here you can follow woodland trails to 3 stunning waterfalls.

8.     Minack Theatre

On a sunny day, treat yourself to a trip to the theatre with a twist. Minack theatre is an open air theatre built on a cliff by an eccentric British woman.

9.     Bedruthan Steps

If you´re feeling fit, take a trip to see the Bedruthan Steps. Legend says that these giant rocks were built as stepping stones for a giant names Bedruthan. Getting to the beach is difficult as it can only be accessed down a steep narrow set of steps cut into the cliff, but if you´re feeling up for it, it´s definitely worth a visit.

10.                       St Michael's Mount

At low tide you can walk to St Michael´s Mount, a beautiful island just off the coastline. Here you can experience medieval history at the castle or explore beautiful sub-tropical gardens.
